Since its inception in 1940, Waterford Twp. EMS has been committed to providing primarily BLS ambulance service to residents and healthcare facilities in Waterford Township. Waterford Twp. EMS focuses largely on interfacility transports, providing a needed service in our local community. With its headquarters in Atco, Waterford Twp. EMS has multiple contracts with the area’s hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.

Waterford Twp. EMS has an experienced and dedicated team of over 20 employees who transport over 1,500 patients per year. Our fleet of 4 ambulances is staffed by certified EMS professionals who hold either a state EMT certification or CPR/First Responder Certification. They respond to calls for 9-1-1 Emergencies including medical, motor vehicle accidents and fire calls.  We provide medical transports from hospital to hospital, nursing home, or other facility, stretcher transports for doctor appointments, hospice services, outpatient diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Waterford Twp. EMS also provides standby for special events in the area.
